Customs + Inspection

Arrival Inspection of Your Pet

When arriving into or transiting one of the islands with your pet an inspection of the animal is necessary. The Chief Veterinary Officer or staff will meet your flight or port of entry and examine the pet. Fees vary per island as does protocol. In some cases it is necessary to make an appointment in advance of your arrival. During these inspections the veterinarian will examine your pet’s overall health and review your import permit and health documentation. Only after you meet ALL requirements will you be allowed to enter the island with your pet.
